| 中文摘要:本文记述采自云南省寄生在钝叶黄檀枝条上的胶蚧属(Kerria)一新种,取名为云南紫胶虫(Kerria yunnanensis sp.nov.)。新种是云南紫胶原胶的大量生产者,分布较广泛,应用价值高,但因其外部形态与紫胶蚧(Kerria lacca(kerr)Targioni-Tozzetti)相似,长期以来一直被中外学者误认为是同一种。最近,经过对两者的形态作进一步观察比较,笔者认为是不同的种,新种与紫胶蚧是近缘种。新种的模式标本保存在中国林业科学研究院资源昆虫研究所。 |

| DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES OF KERRIA (HOMOPTERA: LACCIFERIDAE)IN YUNNAN PROVINCE |

| Abstract:In this paper a new species of kerria is described. The type specimens are preserved in the Research Institute of Ecomomic Insects, Chinese Academy of Forestry.Kerria yunnanensis Ou et Hong, sp. nov.Adult Female Body almost globular or tapering, 3.4-6.0mm in length, 2.5-4.0mm in width, mouth-parts smaller. Antenna minute, without pronounced indication of segmentation, tipped with 4-6 setae. Ventral duct clusters with sparsely distributed ducts near mouth-parts. Marginal duct clusters convoluted, arranged in 6 serpentine areas, each possessing 40-50 ducts. Posterior spiracles smaller than the anterior spiracles, with 75-85 disc pores. Brachial crater concave, with 10-17 dimples. Anterior spiracles present at the base of brachia, with 80-110 disc pores inside. Dorsal spine with dendritic type duct gland. Anal tubercle elongated with 2 segments. Supra-anal plate broader than long distinctly. Pervaginal pore clusters distinct, 12-15 on one side of anal tubercle.Type Host Dalbergia obtusifolia Prain.Type Locality Jingdong,Yunnan Province, May 4,1987.This species is close to Kerria lacca (Kerr )Targioni-Tozzetti and K.ruralis Wang, but it is distinguished from the latter two by brachia crater, and by supra-anal plate broader than long and the antenna minute, segmentation lost. |
