| Abstract:The species in the genus Cyrtophleba Rondani of Voriini (Diptera, Tachinidae) were examined, and two species are recognized, C. ruricola (Meigen 1824) from Liaoning, Ningxia, Shanxi and Xinjiang and C. vernalis Kramer 1917 from Liaoning is newly recorded for China. Their diagnostic characters are given, and head, sternite 5 and male terminalis of C. vernalis are illustrated. The specimens examined are kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University (SYNU), the National Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing (IZCAS) and General Station of Forest Pest Management, State Forestry Administration of China, Shenyang (GSFPM). |
